    Everything .40 Cal. Muzzleloader

I use both 2f and 3f in my 32 and 40 and see no noticable difference in shot placement, performance or shot consistency from one to the other. If I was a better shooter I might notice a difference but my shooting meets my hunting criteria. 😉

Braided up a strap and threw this meat and potatoes bag together today. No flash or frills just a functional shooting bag.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

I'm going through my crates so as not to forget anything for this upcoming weekends event. Seems I usually forget something. Friday is school day for the kids and hopefully exposure to this event will draw in new reenactors in the future and an interest in history.😁

    New Crocket .32 Squirrel Rifle

The ball starter is easy to make if you're so inclined. I used a dried out mullberry limb out of my brush pile and a 1/4" dowel rod. 30 minute project.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Took my .32 flinter to my range and worked on loads and tweaking sights. I've discovered that after 38 years of burning welding rod that the thing that needs tweaked most are my old eyes😁and that I've got to locate realllllly big squirrels.

    Ya cant be scared !

Being on a fixed income now, getting toys is a big deal but my wife the banker gave me the go ahead to get a rifle kit and thats a big deal for me. Having said that my choice is a Bedford county flintlock in .36 caliber. I've never tackled anything as ornate as one of these with all the brass...
