    Favorite Red Green Project

Since there seems to be more than one Red Green fan here - What's you're favorite duct tape project that Red did? Mine's making a lazy-boy out of an oven/range! It's hard to pick just one.

    Loads for .36 ?

Well that's good to hear! I assumed that a slower twist was better (what do they say about assuming). Thanks to everyone

    Loads for .36 ?

Thanks guys! I bought this because my boys, 6 & 9, said they would try this instead of the .50's & .54's that I have. We'll try er out on Sat.

    Loads for .36 ?

It's a Pedersoli Blue Ridge in .36 39" bbl with unfortunately a 1:48 twist (7 lands & grooves). I'd rather have 1:60. They use the same barrel for the .54, so this should be pretty stout.

    Loads for .36 ?

Just picked me up a squirrel gun in .36. What's the Min. & Max. load for PRB?

    Brown Bess ?'s

I just spoke to Robert Henderson from Military Heritage. He was very helpful & came across as one of my friends instead of a salesman. These muskets are made just like the original Bess paterns. They are totally period correct repro's. He definitely knows his stuff & talked about the...

    Brown Bess ?'s

I would already have one if I wasn't scared to drill the vent. Can someone help describe how to go about doing this work correctly (just like orig. Bess)? Would you just have a vent hole through barrel or install liner?

    Brown Bess ?'s

Well the picture on the website sure shows them with smoke comin out the end of those muskets! I guess Jersey Flinter's just gonna have to buy one & let everybody know. They do have a money back guarantee.:: Not only do they look nice, but they offer all of the Bess pattern's (I think). If...

    Brown Bess ?'s

I'm with Jersey_Flinter. I sure would like to hear from somebody who has a Bess from that website. They sure look good. It seems that they accurately reproduced each pattern.? It sounds like all you have to do is drill a vent. The price is right on these too!

    Brown Bess ?'s

I just found this site- muskets Has anyone bought any of these?

    Brown Bess ?'s

I was down at Cabela's today & I'm having them order in a Brown Bess so I can get a look up close. How close to the original are these & what model did they copy? I thought the Bess had a 46" & not a 42" barrel. Are these made by Pedersoli? It must have been unreal standing opposite a line...

    FLINT vs. Cap???

Once you go Flint you never go back! At least for me-I love flint. :: What I don't understand is that Flintlocks seem to take a back seat to caplocks - at least in my neck of the woods. Why? Flint was used for like 200 years to make smokepoles go bang! Percussion caps were used for like...
