By the way, before anyone gives me heck, the feeder and stand belong to the landowner that kindly let's me hunt. I liked the color and contrast, so I snapped the pic... :winking:

    Kentucky Hunt

Here are a few pics from my annual pilgrimage to the Ohio Country. I don't post often, but I thought you boys might enjoy these. There is nothing like walking in the footsteps of Boone, Kenton, and Wetzel in the limestone creeks and ridges of Kentucky.....

    What's a Lefty to do?

Also a lefty that shot right hand guns for years. Flash never bothered me as much as the cheekpiece and comb. I still shoot righty cap guns, but all my flinters are now custom lefties! After 25 years, I'll never shoot right handed flintlocks again.!!!

    Hawken Rifles

If you are ever in Cody. the Buffalo Bill Center is a must see. When you enter the Win. Fireams wing, there are about 10-15 Hawkens arranged in a semi-circle on display. They were indeed, very beefy weapons for the most part. Goeb

Greetings from the Old Northwest Territory

Howdy. Just found this site through a link from a traditional archery site! Been burnin' charcoal since about 1980, mostly flinters since 1985. Don't compete or reinact, but love to hunt and shoot and study the history of this great nation. I live in S.E Ohio. Goeb
