    Is .45 enough for black bear?

    Bears also have allot of fat in the fall. Seen the holes plug up with fat. Dot placement is Key. Wait till one leg forward 1/4 away and send one into the boiler room.

    Fat Wood

    Not sure if this is the right spot or not but does anyone carry fat wood in their kits? I was able to find a chunk of white pine that had so much resin in the wood. Burns great with little flame put to it.

    How to easily identify twist rate

    Ive picked up 5 BP rifles and would like to figure out the twist rates, Any easy way to do this?

    Beaver fat for lube?

    Beaver fat does not stink per say when it goes rancid, I use plenty of beaver meat on my trapline and always find it smelling sweet even after I let it "Cure " before freezing but that could be just me. I will try and make some this spring as well as I need to get some more beaver for my Quota.

    Hunting clothes

    Ive just looked and will start my Mountain Man outfit for hunting, Once big game opens (Moose, Deer and Bear) I have to dawn the Orange vest and cap. I cannot wait to meet up with one of our Game Wardens in the field when I am dressed up hunting small game, Im sure there will be a double take...
