    i always remove the lock, and run warm water over it, then put it aside and flush&swab my bbl. then oil everything. if the lock shows still wet, i may hold it over a heat source to dry it completely, then oil. good luck,

    I highly recommend Mike Brooks Klette rifle kit. I had Mike build mine. Balance and fit is just awesome. It's the first rifle i pick up off the rack, and the only one i really shoot now.

    Josh, Notwithstanding the ML mantra, 'whatever works!', if i started shooting cotton balls then i would most probably light my woods on fire. :redface: i get similar results by simply using a good liquid lube (409,Fantastic,etal.)on my patch.
