Say PK are you back by Island Lake again? Any interest in doing some muzzleloader shooting at Northern Sportsman’s Club range?

A Bad Fly or A Trash Lock?

Nope, it was a soft fly that allowed the sear to dig into it. New fly and properly hardened and it shoots perfectly. Cotton

I’m in the Duluth area also, where do you shoot? I belong to the Northern Sportsman’s Club and we have a range on the North side of Island Lake, we ought to get together and burn some powder!

    Lining an antique double?

I decided not to purchase this double. Thanks for all the good information...

    Lining an antique double?

The bores on this one look quite good, the only corrosion is in the internal breech area.

    Lining an antique double?

I have an opportunity to pick up a very nice looking English Double which has corrosion inside the breech area. I am not interested in it for a wall hanger but was wondering what the approximate cost of having the barrels lined would be and if that would even be recommended. Cotton

Once it warms up a bit we ought to see about getting a shoot going in Northern Minnesota there seem to be quite a few “Muzzleloaders” in the area. I’m in the Duluth area. Cotton
