    Nebraska goat.

Nice shooting, RedOneFive. Looks like a well-fed pronghorn. How long was the shot? Did you use a blind or stalking?

    Lead ammo ban in Wisconsin?

Isn't this just for Wisconsin residents to participate in? Aside from that, what are the details or specifics of this lead ban? Is this lead ban for waterfowl hunting on Federal Refuges, deer hunting throughout the state, squirrel hunting with my pellet rifle? The question for the...

    How do you prime?

Coinneach, The Mumma priming horn comes with the vent pick in the stopper. I don't know how he does it, but it's handy. This priming horn easily nestles in my breast pocket, stays warm, waterproof, and never clogs up.

Details? What bark did you use? Where did you get your bark? Did you have to pickle the hide before tanning? How did you "break" the hide after tanning? What big vessel did you use for tanning? Is that deer hide? Thanks!

    Round ball and blood trails

Roundballs are very deadly. But, I’ve come to expect some things to likely be true after the shot. I treat shooting a flintlock like shooting deer with a longbow. The hit deer is going to run a bit. I figure anywhere from 35 to 125 yards before dropping. One deer last year ran probably 70...

    CLOSED Muzzleloader magazines for free

To give away MUZZLELOADER magazines from the following years. I have most of the issues from 2011 through 2023, although 4 years are missing an issue. Also a few issues from 2007 and 2010. I’d prefer to keep all 6 issues of a year together. You pay the postage, of course, is the catch...

What to do with worn out flints?

Not as sophisticated as Tom A Hawk's gizmo, but I use a Vise Grip w/leather to hold tiny flints.
