    Round ball Vs Minnie

    I always wondered how well hollowbase slugs would work. I got a 20 bore and have been looking into getting some rifled slugs for a 20 gauge modern shotgun, these have a hollow base so all thw weight is up front making the bullet fly straight, basically a lead shuttlecock.

    Lube with news paper wadding?

    I just run a lubed patch down the bore after I load my shot, the main thing I noticed is howmuch easier it was to clean after shooting compared to not using lube.

    recomended load for 20 gauge pistol.

    I got a custom built 20 bore underhammer smoothbore pistol with a 10 inch from bore face to muzzle barrel, what would be a good load. I currently use 30 grains of triple 7 and am thinking of trying 35 to 40 but not sure if the barrel will burn his much powder.

    Flat springs can be made easily from old hacksaw blades, do a quick google search on spring making and you should find all the info you need.
