This weekend I had the great pleasure of participating in the tomahawk making class at the Goshen School of blacksmithing taught by the Master axe maker Bart Dellinger. This is how you learn to make the best tools you can under the guidance of a master. I learned alot and came away with an excellent hammer poll tomahawk.

It's been a while since I started soaking bits of rawhide to make hide glue. Today I got a roundtuit and started it up on the casting stove. More later with the results.

Still working on a "final" design for the collapsible, transportable, convertible, adaptable and configurable pistol loading stand. "Final", so far, anyway, but this design is V.11. Sigh. Also ordered some round balls and other .69 caliber stuff from TOW, and sent a check for the Charleville I just bought from a fellow forum member. Looking forward to that, for sure.

Took the BP 12 ga sxs to the woods looking for Mr. Thunder chicken just 20 minutes into the task and one trigger pulled. I think the shot parted like the red sea around his head and back into the under brush he went. No matter it was a good day.
