Traditional string gasket fire piston with attached tinder bag. This design pre-dates 1800. Comes with charcloth, jute fiber, small sample of tinder fungus, replacement gasket cord and instructions. String gasket fire pistons require a periodic application of grease to maintain air tight gasket seal and compression. This model sells for $85 on the website.
