I just picked up a used round steel plate, 3/8" x 12" for $10 bucks...the little privately owned range I shoot at is actually an action pistol club and he has a lot of various steel targets for the matches he holds every week...noticed this one setting off to the side already had a hole drilled through it near one edge so I can easily hang it from the A-frame cross bar of a target holder I have and use it for playing at long ranges...something different to do at the range after hunting season

Planning to make a 12" cardboard template with a 6" hole cut out of the middle...spray paint the entire plate black, then after it dries, lay the template over it and spray paint the center 6" bright orange.
