It provides the inspiration for an almost endless ongoing topic on Muzzleloading forums. If the thread seems about to die out, open a new one on cleaning solutions and that should give activity for another couple of years or so. If you are really desperate for attention, ask about barrel steel.

Patch lube is not a subject to be brought up at 11:45 Saturday night in your favorite watering hole!

Minie lube is the N-SSA's equivalent of patch lube and on the old N-SSA forum generated thousands of humorous replies. It's unfortunate that the revamped N-SSA forum has no sense of humor and to go there and even mention Lefty's Lube would likely get you banned for life. :grin:
