A fella started a thread looking for a .32 rifle couple weeks ago. Two of us responded to him. He and I pm’d a little. I had a Cherokee I was willing to sell. Ultimately he decided he was going to get a Crockett. Meanwhile another member said if the first guy didn’t want it, he was interested.

Somebody else said this was a scam. The thread got shutdown over the responses.

When I pm’d with both of them there was a red possible scam warning at the bottom of their pm.

The second gentleman who’s handle is Curman asked me to call him and send him pictures. I did both. We’ve chatted 3 times now and today I received his money order for the rifle.

I knew after the first phone call there were no worries. He’s a fine gentleman that I would do business with anytime.

He doesn’t post a lot and so the warning but a simple phone call alleviated any worries for me.

So folks be careful and make phone calls.
