I was shooting a SB match for the ALR Forum yesterday and decided to test my standard load (.550" RB + .011" fabric with 80gr. GOEX FFg + a thin OP wad) against a smaller, .535" RB patched with .018" pillow ticking, all else being the same. The latter so easy to load with the factory ramrod that BP Maniac would love it. (I don't know whether the flyer on the .535" target was entirely my doing or being distracted by mosquitos that were trying to eat my face!) Btw, I swapped out the nipple for one with a smaller orifice at the base and it made a difference. Anyway, here's a photo of the results @ 25 yd. fired kneeling with my right elbow on the bench.*

P.S. Hawken & Renegade stocks don't fit me well, so kneeling is a partial answer to cheek weld, etc.
