Round Poll Trade Tomahawk

I recently acquired this piece. Appears to be a hand forged trade tomahawk which came from Ottawa County, Michigan. Nice brown patina, interesting square inlay on blade. It weights 13 oz overall. Head is 5.25 inches in length. 15 inches overall

Any thoughts on age?

My guess is it is modern made. The blade looks to be welded to the top with a mig welder. Still a nice hawk.
