Selling this cannon barrel to make way for a different barell. Tube is the only thing being sold.

This is a light three pound "verbruggen" cannon barrel, it is made by South Bend Replicas, and is several years old but has never been fired. It is in practically brand new condition. It will come with a cartridge former, three implements (rammer/sponge, worm/sponge and worm) as well as a vent cover and muzzle tompion. They are currently selling new for 4800 dollars with an 18 month wait time.

I am asking $3000 for everything pictured (minus the carriage). Available for local pick up in New England or perhaps a meet up within a 2/3 hour drive range. Shipping is available, but will be at buyers cost due to size and more importantly the weight of the piece (200lbs).

I will update in a little bit with the picture of my username and date, but I gotta unwrap the cannon as its buried in my shed at the moment.

What would soothe that angst is a nice three pounder!
married to a 5'10" Scots woman. she would beat me over the head with it!
I was offered one of those small porch .50 cal units. the lightening flashed from the east to the west out of her eyes. I wanted it for the front porch, lobbing rounds into the river below. resounding no!
need to drag it out of the tool shed one of these days!
