If you live any where near Vails Mills in Fulton county theres a place called Franks Guns that has a good supply of shooting supplies for bp guns including round balls #11caps nipples patches etc.

I bought both of my Renegades, Both in .54 a flinter and a percussion from ads on Gunbroker. One piece of advice to offer is to change that nipple to one that uses a musket cap.

Well, my 54 trade rifle came in today and unfortunately I have to wait to the weekend to set it up and check it out..... :cursing: next 2 days work both my jobs.

I shoot a Lyman GP in a .54 caliber and enjoy shooting it. I wouldn't worry about the 1:60 twist it stabilizes the PRB real well. I personally shoot 80 grains of Goex ff and .530 PRB with mink oil lube and have a 2 inch minus group at 50 yards.
