The reality of returning to work compelled me to get out for a walk yesterday in hopes, but under no delusions of grabbing some game this late in the season. I was pleasantly surprised! Usually the squirrels are well hidden this time of year until spring, but they were all out and about. I could have taken more but I don’t like to get greedy. I had about 6 in the freezer already so I guess it’s time for squirrel dumplings!
