Declining turkey numbers, eh?

That may be correct but if so, what are the reasons?
I’m hearing predators. Coons, coyotes, bobcats etc.. Also, loss of habitat. I believe we (TN) reduced the harvest to two birds this past spring. NWTF has been pushing habitat restoration. Which is fine by me. That being said, I have turkeys all around me. Maybe it’s sporadic.

There are some places in Kansas where the numbers may be lower, but our Democrat governor's appointments to KDWP have been disappointments. In fact, it's believed that the head of KDWP may be a card carrying member of Peta.
