What’s going on everyone? My name is Jonathan Weaver. I’m currently a SSG in the US Army, Infantry by trade but on recruiting at the moment. I’m brand new to muzzleloading but have been a big firearm person for the past 15 years or so. Before the Army I bought/sold/and customized guns as a hobby. I’ve built several from the ground up and really enjoy it. Since joining the Army, I’ve transitioned to making my own knives. All that being said I’m fascinated by the frontier lifestyle. I want to get into black powder and bushcraft living as much as I can. Excited to see what I learn here!

Welcome Janathan, an old Army vet here, 13alpha10, artillery. Duh, you probably know that already being a recruiter. There was a time when I would have done just about anything to get my hands on my recruiter….lol. Welcome to the forum and looking forward to reading you posts.
Haha those times are done brother! I was right there with you at one point. Our hands are tied now though, Army has full access to all records and we have to answer for everything so there’s no way to do anything sketchy
