I bought this 1849 Colt Pocket at a local gun show last week for $550. Finish is a little rough but the gun is tight. I couldn’t be happier. Bore is super and everything functions perfectly. The sad thing is about a month ago I bought a Uberti replica for a couple hundred less. If I would have come across this first I probably wouldn’t have bought the Uberti. Who am I kidding, I probably would have anyway. The point is, there are still originals that are affordable if you are in the right place at the right time.

I received the new nipples from Track today. I turned about .010 off the length so that the hammer would not hit them. They are the same length as the ones that were in it and it shoots like a new gun. The nipples from Track were advertised as fitting #11 caps and they fit very well with Remington 11.
