Hi,

I got this piece beginning of this year, i just wanted to share :D

she's got a 1.1" bore with ~20" Barrel lenght and shoots blanks with 450-600 grains of FFg powder

Nice sound :D

It's a small auxillary field gun, used with the XVII Century Dragoons for additional firepower on the field and as a signal and salut-gun

nice did you biuld it?
just trying to decide on my next prodject

Looks very nice! :hatsoff: I have a similar barrel & that is the carriage design I an considering. Any plans to paint it?

A very nice looking piece, thank you for sharing it with your friends across the sea, we very much enjoy all the things you folks have there that are often not represented as much/often over here.

hi (sorry for late reply) - i did build the carriage apart from wheels, we got a proffesional caster in our group who supplies 90% of napoleonic-era cannons in Poland (and partially to east europe as well), he does stuff for museums, castles etc. The wheels are done by a professional although we plan to start making them ourselves too

this one will not be painted as we are always carrying 3 of them with us to every battle we go and we return with one, maybe two :p (they are very loud so every group wants at least one :p)

They are selling very fast :)

Edit: it shoots lead balls over a distance of 150 yards, most accuracy i got in the range of 50-70 tho, didnt try target-shooting any further
