I enjoy Cap and Ball's videos. Very interesting to watch.
 
While managing a piece of burning match out in the field can be a pain, there's something so appealing about the sheer simplicity of the matchlock system.
 
My only gripe is his match discipline. The loose end should always be under control; even more so if it too is lit. I also prefer to prime first as done in the order of arms. Unlike a flintlock, the half cock can’t slip. Otherwise, very nice.
 
I never prime my flintlocks until just prior to firing. Just always have done it that way.
