Of all the lubes I've tried out (and I've tried plenty in the 8 years I've been shooting) Hoppe's#9 Plus blackpowder solve and lube and Track of the Wolfs Mink oil have given me the best groups, 2" inches or less at 50yds. I do have a bottle of JOJOBA oil that I may have tried but don't remember the results so I'll try it next time I go to the range. And just plain ol' spit has done very well also. Maybe I've just lucked out an got a barrel that ain't picky. But the barrel is just a plain old 7/8th .50 caliber Green Mountain barrel with a 1/70 twist. :idunno: Btw, not to rub it in but right now I'm watching High Noon with Gary Cooper.
