On this link you will see a very fine flintlock long rifle that appears, to me, to be a modern replication. I am by no means trying to belittle it - I wish it were mine - but the owner is at a loss to identifying it.
It has the name K L Shelton on it somewhere - he doesn't say where - and the name, probably of the person for whom it was made - D Eagan - on the barrel.
Any help that you can offer in the identification of this lovely piece would be greatly appeciated.
