Hello All,
Through my gunsmith, Ford's plating, in Springhill, Fl, is nickel plating a repro Remington New Model Pocket revolver and conversion
cylinder for me. However, I've been told that they have declined to nickel plate the two powder flasks that I sent.

Do any of y'all know of a business who will nickel plate a couple of powder flasks?

Will be using these in a cased set with three nickeled Remington Firearms.

Thank you,

Jason

Have you thought about contacting a jeweler ? If they don’t plate, they might know someone who does.

I made the assumption that the business who is plating my firearm would also plate the flasks!
But have learned that they declined to do so.

A jewler may use an entirely different process. In other words, where your gun is may be a more tranditional plating service. Such as what you would use to get your motorcycle handlebars plated. May not be the same as the what a jewler does. It's worth a shot.
