As you see I'm new here , and very glad I found this forum.. I think it will be very helpful for me because I'm very interested in blackpowder weaponry and I know this is a great place to learn alot of good knowledge on the subject. Glad to here and ready to learn everything you have to show me.
 
Arthur, Its a rather big & deep pool of knowledge your seeking to dive into , might help to start with some particular aspect . Rifled, Smooth, flint, or cap lock ,time period your thinking of .That sort of start point like which country at what time period .Some extol the merits of factory guns like Thompson Centers, Others would joyfully leap over a big pile of them to reach one battered old Mongolian matchlock, I confess ide be in the latter group . Good luck anyway.
