Hello all, I have been in the firearms arena for many years from long distance, reloading and hunting. I used to have a Hawken .54 cal. percussion which I have taken several deer with. I have built precision center fire rifles but am now going to try my hand at putting together a kit flint lock. I am hoping to be able to customize and make it unique to me in the build process. anyway, great info contained in the archives of this forum I know it will help me with ideas and hopefully to get any questions answered in case I hit a proverbial stump. maybe I can also discover if there are any gatherings in my part of the country to attend.
