Well, our UAVs at work actually are fixed wing ones, altough with quad motors for vertical takeoff. as a hobby i have flown only fixed wings and traditional helicopters, i don't own any quadrotors myself as i find them very boring. My biggest plane has 5 meter wingspan (K-8c glider), and it's towplane, 60cc &2.5m wingspan Jodel Robin! 😁
Very nice. 5 meter is a VERY respectable glider! My largest model by power is a 60" Ultimate biplane with a 43cc EI engine. By wingspan, my largest is a Multiplex Heron 2.4m glider. The glider is sooooo much more relaxing to fly. Maxed out the programming on my old Futaba T8FG to get camber, reflex, launch setting (throttle on a switch, trailing edges on a stick), and CROW.
