I have a Left Hand Don Stith Hawken that he built in approximately 2003. This Hawken is 54 Cal. I talked with Don some years back and showed him pictures of this rifle. He definitely verified that he did indeed build this one. He also stated that he could count on one hand how many left hand models that he actually built. This is one of them.

I’ve owned this one since about 2005 or so? Shot it maybe a half a dozen times. Well cared for and extremely clean. Barrel is mirror bright. This Hawken shows little use. Couple of small dings here and there but barely noticeable? I paid $1400 back in the day. I would imagine it’s probably worth near double the price now.

Here’s the specs:
1.Caliber .54

2. Barrel is a DeHaas 1:60 twist, 36” long. Tapered from 1” at the breech to 7/8” at the muzzle. Makes this Hawken lighter at 8 1/2 pounds. Is excellent for off hand shooting and definitely is a tac driver as well! It’s a dead on killer.

3. Hawken overall length is 53 1/2”. LOP is 13-3/4”.

4. Lock is a Ron Long design by R.E.Davis.

5. Triggers are double lever, double set. Also by R.E. Davis. Smooth as glass with a crisp
break!

Key’s are captured. Stock is hard maple with a dark brown satin finish.

This Hawken is a fine rendition of a mid 1850’s S. Hawken rifle.

Anyway, due to other projects and other financial obligations, I’m letting this go for $900 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48. USPS Money Order only.

I’m open to a trade for an unmentionable. Send me a PM.

I also have several more muzzleloader’s I’ll be posting soon. Keep an eye out my friends.

God Bless.
