Main spring on my Cochran flintlock broke a few weeks back. Glad I had a spare but not anymore. Does anyone know a source for parts?

Thx

Not anymore.

A guy named Jim Alvey used to do Cochran locks. I bought one from him a few years ago. However, recently, nobody has been able to contact him. Moved, quit, retired, don't know.

Stophel,
Got tired of trying to get info on him thru his running buddy. All I know is ,after his divorce, all that stuff is sitting under a carport somewhere in the panhandle of Texas.
I need a frizzen spring also.
Maybe Tom Compton can find out more info or if anyone has info that is CURRENT - please let everyone know.

Don't take this personally Greg. Actually it is being written to several of our members.

I really hate to see posts from folks who write, "Sent you a PT".

First off, anyone who gets a "PT" knows he/she got it because there is a little flashing PT at the top of their screen. If they click that flashing PT they are automatically taken to their private inbox so they can read it.

The second reason I hate to see these, "I sent..." is because obviously there is some information that is being given and it appears to all of us who didn't get the Private Topic that we are being left out. It kinda says to them that they are not worthy of seeing this privileged information.

Now, I'm not saying that this intentional exclusion of the rest of us is the case here but, it is a real good reason for not posting these "I sent..." messages.

Just my three cents worth. :)
