In a Shotgun is easyer to load all day with pyrodex... less smoke. But loading yea is smoother feeling like that bottom crud doesn't feel as cruddy..

The blackpowder... it still loads real dirty and fires.. kinda gotta push nitro card down twice as hard but what ever.. I like the smoke!! I want to smoke that bird gone down somewhere there.. dog find it.

Just found that out today too. New shotgun came with 1.5 lbs of Pyrodex so I said might as well use it up.
Loaded on the 10th shot like it was the first.

I dunno from a different rifle being.

I've shot 30-06 that couldn't group nothing but core locks. I though that gun was junk until I tried a core lock or anything cheap ammo like PMC American eagle was good.

all the high price fancy stuff I got to try no good.. in the end I was like that gun is awesome groups great with the cheap ammo.
That 30-06 wouldn't happen to be a Charles Daly would it? I have one that only groups with 150 gr Rem. corelock . Picked it up at an estate auction for $150 and it the best shooting cheap gun I ever had. Hopefully I'll get my percussion shooting groups that tight.

Winchester Featherlite 70.

Trigger was adjusted down a little to 4 pounds... factory was ehhh little heavey
