Just got back in from the Ohio State Over the Log shoot. Seen one of those things that makes you feel good. After Bill Large died his tools were left in the shop for quite a few years & as I understand it the roof leaked & they were rapidly falling into disrepair. Sometime in the last years a gent from northern Indiana was able to purchase the tools from the family. He came to the shoot with pictures of the stuff these days. Bill has to be smiling from ear to ear. We're talking complete restoration, mechanical & cosmetic. I mean these tools look like they did the day they roled out of the factory. Also they're in the hands of a good machinist as his work looks sweet & will be a welcome addition to the shooting sports. He had a couple 60" chunk barrels, fine looking with Pope style rifling. Like to think old Bill's got to be hanging around the shop helping out.

Shortstring, Greetings, would you happen to know the name and address of the barrel builder that purchased the machines? Thanks! Mgcrumster...
