That is so simple yet elegant, suppose one could go downtown on it with a file and make it all fancy looking. I will deff give this a try. Thank you sir!

Between the sights and paper patch bullets this has really been a learning curve. With everything I have read and from all of your help I have learned a lot and appreciate the help.

Here what I now have: Dimick like Mountain muzzleloader which will receive both barrels and they are 45 cal made by Oregon Barrel. The first barrel is 1 a 18" twist with Malcom 33" period scope.

The second barrel is a 1 in 24" twist barrel attached with a Rough and Ready MVA rear ladder sight and their front peep sight with inserts. I attached the rear sight as close to the breach as possible, but still staying on the barrel. After reading some of the bloggers I thought I might have made a mistake, but it works well. I did not want a tang sight because of the barrel change.

For my best groups I have found 1 1/2 F - 90 grains of Swiss powder works best. Single wrapped computer paper for the patches. My last time out with the peep sight I shot a five shot - 1" group. No way can I do that with my inline with a scope using 209 powder. Love the peep - Now to extend the yardage.
