Ok we are having a debate here. Were "Dew Rags and bandanas actually worn and tied on the head. It seems like its a normal trend at mountain man type events. But were say silk dew rags worn on the head like a pirate from early fur trade era-1840. Quick Research has shown silk neck scarfs were used in various colors to include pink has head attire. But we cannot find "true" historical photos documenting this. This is where the debate comes in.
