Here are some pictures of a Lehigh I just finished over the weekend.
The stock architecture is loosely based off of an original Johannes Moll.
The stock is Pear. The barrel is 38" taper and flared 52 cal by Bobby Hoyt.

Wow Chris! That is just beautiful! Where did you find a pear wood blank nice enough to build that rifle from?

Very very nice :bow: And how are your nerves after all that incised carving? Any slips hidden in there? :hmm: Love the figure after the trigger guard. Inletting looks super tight.

This piece of Pear came from Fred Miller. He had it hidden in one of his barns under some other boards covered in bird manure. :shocked2:
