I see on the Cap & Ball Revolvers Only site, which I recently discovered, that the Buffalo Bill Shooting Store in Sanford, FL, is the distributor for a new repro Adams revolver in .44 and future .50 cal. A group called ARSA was mentioned, I don't know what that is?? This could cause some excitement among the CW re-enactor crowd and the Steampunks, too!

I posted this on another forum last Summer. From first-hand reports of folks actually handling the samples, they are not that special in terms of quality. No idea of cost, but like anything with a small manufacturing run and a highly-specialised customer base, they won't be giving them away. I've seen a base figure of around $1500 mooted.

For anybody interested, the well-regarded Canadian shooter and collector Grant Rombaugh posted this thread......
