I have for sale what I believe to be a “CM-4” or “K-4” 4 bore blunderbuss “ready to ship” kit originally from Sitting Fox muzzleloaders. This was given to me by a friend of mine who is a gunsmith. He said “hey.. I know you like black powder stuff” and literally pulled this out from under his bed.. as cool as I think it is, it’s way, way beyond my expertise.

It comes with all the major parts, including the curly maple stock, flint lock, buttplate, trigger guard and trigger mechanism as well as ramrod pipes, and what I believe to be the sights and a brass ramrod tip. There’s also a side plate. All the screws that came with it are in a little bag.

The barrel is made by Ed Rayl instead of Rice, and is marked with his last name. All the parts are steel as far as I can tell and a magnet will stick to them. From their website, these go from between $1299 to $1499… I am asking $850 plus shipping. I am open to some negotiation. If you’re looking for a “buss” that will turn heads at the range, empty your horn like it’s going out of style, and blow the absolute tar out of those wimpy traditions kits.. this is what you’re looking for.

It weighs a ton and if you’re not careful you could trip and fall into the muzzle and have a hard time finding your way out… seriously.. this thing is massive.
