    What is the different between liquid lube and grease patches? Some shoots out here let you use liquid lube on your patches but not grease. They feel grease may cause fires. Thanks

    Melting Lead

    Had some big pieces of lead, so I melt them down in one pound ingots. Got the lead way to hot and the ingots came out frosted and some broke in half and the inside was frosted also and seen to have air pockets. We I remelt the lead to run ball will all that go away??     I have a question about soft lead or hard lead for smoothbores? I was told that hard lead is ok for smoothbores bacause theres no rifleing to cut the patch. Any ideas on this?
