    Thanks, I've actually have been in contact with a gentleman who specializes in New York arms co guns he hasn't seen any New York Gun Co stamped guns. His impression was that this gun was made between 1850 and 1890

    i am leaning that way, most guns from across the pond are heavy on the proof marks this gun has the same number on every part, but then again some countries in Europe were famous for that as well
