New Uberti 1861 Navy from Midway. Buyer Beware!

That sucks. Got my first C&B (Uberti 1851 London Navy) from Midway not long ago and it came pristine. If they don't allow returns, how do they end up with this manure in the box? They don't come from the factory like that.

    Midway deal.

I literally just ordered this direct from Taylor's 1860 Army 5-3/8" .44 Half Fluted at $388 plus tax plus $26.46 shipping. Then went to Midway to look at some stuff to get for it and they have a bunch of Pietta deals basically sending a free spare cylinder. Including the same one I bought for...

Advertised case hardening on BP revolvers

I can assure you, the "crystals" are certainly made of molecules, which are made of atoms. "Crystals" are no more "solid" than the molecules they are made of, and the atoms which make up those molecules are no more dense or "solid" whether they are in a crystal or not.

Decades shooting pistols, 10s of thousands of rounds through 1911s and CZs and everything else worth trying and some stuff that wasn't. Basically, I can shoot. I know what I like. I like...

We'll have to get together sometime. Work is crazy right now and the family's all still getting settled in from moving. So much to do, the wife is being run ragged trying to do it all while I'm being run ragged at the job. Doing 6 10 hour days a week right now and it will get worse soon. Trying...

Hey neighbor! Yes. Not from here, but we have lived in the Raleigh area for 20 years. Shot IDPA and USPSA but that's ground to a halt in the last few years. Working a lot of hours when I'm here and have had to travel for work more since covid. We just moved to a house in Clayton. Now I can buy...

Thanks all for the warm welcome! The box from Graf's got here. The 1 pound black powder containers are so small compared to smokeless.

Hello! I've lurked here quite a while. Been interested in getting a cap and ball gun but never "pulled the trigger" on one. There's always cartridge guns to buy or get ammo for ya know. But I got the yearly Birthday discount email from MidwayUSA the other day and looked at them again. Ordered a...
