Fella's now I know that I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but, I am trying to fix a place on a barrel with the LMF browning,and it keeps coming up copper,what in blazes am I doing wrong? Does this stuff settle in the bottom of the bottle or something?

This question is for the ones that know how powder burns at what rate. If,,you where using 70 grs of fffg in a 21" barrel vs a 32" barrel would it all ignite? Or would you have blow-off of excess powder?

One of you gunsmiths explain this: What is the cause of a nipple fail? I have heard of having to strike the hammer a couple times to get it to fire.Can they be re-worked? If so How?

I am looking to remove the barrel from my NSW Early English,it has 5 pins+the tang screw.
Which pins hold the barrel in? The higher ones?

problem#2 There is no-one even remotely close to me that I could get to solder one on for me.
SO I need to know which epoxy will work on the flats of my barrel to install a sight with.
