    I have used a flintlock flush tool for more years than I can remember. The only thing to do to make it work as it should is, 1 remove the o ring and, 2 replace it with a sink repair gasket. drill the gasket hole about half way through and push it on the flush tool. Now when you draw it up...

    Make sure that the barrel and tang fit together tight when they are out of the stock. If they don't then fix that before you do anything else. I would think that if the muzzle is sticking up and it fits the tang right when you push down on the barrel the front of the tang should come up...

    Offset cock and frizzen issue?

    I have built flintlock rifles for the last 40 years. I have never had a lock that the flint could be out in the jaws centered and have it align with the frizzen. I have always had to set it off to the right a bit. I used only top of the line locks, Haddaway,L&R and Chambers. Jim

    The Big Boar mountain rifle did come in 58cal.flint. I bought one new in 79. It was a fun rifle to play with but I sold it to help finance a custom build.
