Forged my Dad a pipe hawk for christmas.

Hey guys, I thought I'd make my old man something special for Christmas. I forged it out of a piece of old crow bar and handled it with good old Aussie hardwood. I'll just have to get him a tin of tobacco and he'll be good to go.

    New hawk for a mate

Hey guys, a good friend asked me to make up a hawk for him to use as a Christmas present. I forged it out of an old piece of crow bar and handled it with some scrap hardwood I had laying around. I asked if he wanted it new and shiny or “aged”. He chose aged. I think it turned out fairly well.

    10 year olds dagger.

Hey guys, just thought I would share a pic of a dagger my son made. I helped him cut the steel with the grinder and set up a jig so he could grind the bevels. I drilled the holes in the handle and guard and he filed it to fit the tang. Heat treat was done in my gas forge under my watchful eye...
