    Tanker, FYI two of my friends and I all have Traditions Buckskinner's .50 cal flintlocks and we all have the same problem a tight spot about six inches down the barrel.     Changing sights on T/C Hawken

    I have replaced several T/C sidelock sights with fiber optic ones, front is simple just tap out and may need a little filing on new sight, rear sight it depends on screw hole spacing, two that I've done had to drill and tap a new hole in the barrel. Good luck, Steve

    Is this a solid rear sight or is it adjustable? The reason I ask is I have a CVA rear sight that uses a dovetail but has a screw in the base to hold it in place. Just a thought, good luck, Steve

    Hello all, I'm getting ready to do my first slow rust blue project using Laurel Mountain Forge Barrel Brown and I have a couple questions, can I reuse the distilled water for other projects, also when neutralizing with baking soda can I use regular tap water or does it have to be distilled also?
