    Will a Colt 1851 trigger and bolt spring work in a Pietta copy? If not will any other springs work in a Pietta revolver? Ever make your own spring?

    1851 Navy with ding on muzzle

    I have a 1851 .44 barrel that has a ding on the muzzle. Looks like someone dropped it or hit it with something. Whats the best way to fix this? I know it wouldn't shoot accurately like it is.
