    100% or so....underlyig theme?

    I have two flintlock they go bang every time except when the deer is 50yd broadside then flash. Part of the fun.Good luck getting it to go bang every time.

    Source for #11 caps in bulk?

    I can make my own #11and mag#11. I have a tap-a-cap die use roll caps. Punch 2 for plain and 3 or 4 for mag caps. don't see any difference then Rem.caps.

    Custom Breeching for Muzzleloaders

    I have a blue ridge flintlock in 45.I believe it has an patent breech( could be wrong) it fires fast? it has a large lock but goes bang every time.

    T/C White Mtn Carbine

    I have one in flint love it never failed . It's good in deep woods. I shoot round ball and the "real bullet" both give me 2to3in groups at 75 to 80yds.

    I had an T/C hawken flintock that i never got the ignition right. MY White mountain as no problem. great every shot.

    When your daugther get her homework done try to fine some muzzleloaders and try to get her involed in the sport. All three of my grils love it. my ten year old has her own 50cal and she loves it.She bugs me all the time to take her to the range to shoot. It better then some of the things kids...

    I know a fellow who keep balls of beewax in his to use as waterproffing arount his pan and over his load.

    Barrel twist

    Thanks madstone. The twist is 1-20. one turn on rod in the 20in. barrel. Should shoot well with long heavy bullets. :imo: with 60 t0 70gr 0f powder. what is the general opinion of some of the others that know these thing thanks to everyone. longshot

    Thank Stumpkiller and Swamp Rat . I got the carbine in a trade. It is an 50cal flintlock and does not look like it has been shot much. might be fun to play with. I have other rifles to shot round balls.
