    Pyrodex P in matchlock

Can Pyrodex P(the fine stuff)be used in a matchlock? Since a burning peice of cord is used to ignite the powder and not sparks, it may be succesful. Black Powder is almost illeagl in the UK, that's why we have to use Pyrodex and even that has its restrictions. Its all I can get hold of :( Cheers

    Blunderbuss

I'm thinking of getting a flintlock Blunderbuss for and hunting and clay. I no it's not ideal, but it sure will be fun to use. Anyone hunt or shoot with a blunderbuss on here? Also, how efficient are duplex loads? It's hard to get BP near me.

    Load for 45.cal?

I do measure it by volume. When did I say I measured it by weight? I've been told that when using pyrodex, use 10 grains less than what you would when using BP. A powder measurer normally goes up in five grain increcements.
