    HOW RURAL IS RURAL?

This is my view across our south fence. I have just have a section but am fortunate that my neighbor is a very big landowner. The nearest house to me is nine miles away. The nearest town (800 people) is fourteen miles. There is literally nothing to hear but the wind and our sky is enormous...

    Exactly. Stupid spiders.

    Squirrels.

In my part of Texas squirrel season runs year around. But as some of you mentioned, it's just too hot to think of a woods walk. Early this morning I noticed the upstairs A/C compressor sounded strange. I went around to the side of the house (where all the trees are) and ran into a spider web...

    '62 Po-po?

I've been in law enforcement since 1987 and don't find the term "po-po" offensive. People call us much worse. Anyway, I think whichever barrel length you choose will make a dandy trail gun. Also, you could probably go with a strong side holster and be just fine. Thank you for your service.

    Shooting a T/C .45 Hawken

The TC Hawken in 45 caliber was the first ML I ever purchased. I was 14 when I bought it. My friend and I used to sit on a bluff overlooking the Brazos River and shoot at sticks and other items as they floated past. That's a nice rifle you have there.

And we think our current game laws are tough. :shocked2: Thanks Brit for another great post.
