Since I cannot find one in any of the Texas stores to look at:
Is the rifle sold by Cabelas labeled on the barrel with Cabelas or is it an all Pedersoli labeled rifle?
I would like to have one, but cannot find a .54 Frontier Flinter in stock anywhere.
I do not want a rifle with Cabelas name all over it.

The ones I have seen do not have "Cabela's" stamped on the barrel. Instead of "Frontier", I think they are stamped "Blue Ridge". The Blue ridge has a blued barrel, the Frontier has a browned barrel. The is a .54 Frontier for sale on Gun Brokers for a very good price.

Yup, I saw that one. It's a percussion. I am looking for a flint
Pedersoli # Cod. 010S266540 - Caliber .54

I have a Blue Ridge flinter in .50 caliber. I don't think it says Cabelas on it anywhere. I have only shot it maybe 50 shots and then bought several other flinters so I haven't had it out for quite awhile. Greg :)

I have one in .50 caliber. I can confirm that it does NOT say Cabela's on it anywhere.

There is a member named Old Hickory that posted last Thursday in the classified section that he had a used Blue Ridge .54 flint that he would sell for $450. Greg :)

Just went back and looked again. The flintlock is a 50 cal. Still the same number of listings as before.
(wishful thinking I guess)
No, it's a .54 flint Blue Ridge. It is by Old Hickory in a "Wanted" post. I just looked again.

Have not seen Cabelas Blue Ridge branded guns with Cabelas stamped anywhere on the them. Older Cabelas’ guns however, have Cabelas prominently displayed on them.

That was a response to Grimord about the GB listing for Frontiers.
Yup, I tracked that one down from OLDHICKORY and sent a PM to him.
He has not been on the forum since he wrote that. I dropped him a PM.
I thought you were referencing a Frontier on GB. Sorry for the confusion.

I checked the one on GB and found that it is sold. It had the "buy now" option, and at the $400.00 listing, I guess it went quick cause it is a good deal.

Hunt is over. I decided to pass on the Blue Ridge (new one at least)
I found a Pedersoli Frontier flint in 54 new at a small shop in PA, and they made me a decent deal on it.
I like the browned barrel better and would have been my plan for the blue ridge to shave the label off the barrel and brown it.
Should be here by the end of the week.
Thanks to all for the great information!

Congrats on your new rifle. Don't be surprised if the rifle shoots way low right out of the box and it tears patches. Both easy enough fixes. I'm betting you will enjoy your new gun! Greg :)

New Frontier arrived today.
It's a beauty! For a plain Jane utilitarian flinter it has a lot of curb appeal
Has great figure in the wood for plain walnut.
Lock is crisp and strikes with a lot of sparks.
It came with a lead strip in the jaws. I set the new flint in leather.
The barrel cleanup was much less that I expected. 3 patches with Ed's power mix and the bore as slick and clean. No fraying on the patches. We will see what the first few fired shots look like.
One thing I did not like, the front lock screw is in the wood and not a pass through bolt. That's gonna bug me until I drill it out, thread the hole in the lock and put a bolt in it.
